Beyonce’s BeyGOOD Org Teams Up With Adidas To Provide $1,000 For Texans Impacted By Severe Storms
Beyonce’s BeyGOOD foundation has joined forces with Adidas and Houston’s Bread of Life charity in an effort to help Texas residents impacted by severe storms that hit the state earlier this week.
The three groups are providing up to $1,000 for locals who need financial assistance amid the natural disaster.
Texans and residents of other states impacted can apply via the Disaster Relief Assistance Application Form.
Bread of Life is taking donations to help as well.
See BeyGOOD’s announcement below.

News of the storms made international news throughout the week as thousands of Texans were left without heat, electricity, and food. Thirteen million residents were reportedly advised to boil their water before drinking it.
Unfortunately, at least 38 people have lost their lives to the storms.
Beyonce’s initiative comes after BeyGOOD teamed up with the NAACP to provide funds for those who need housing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the BeyGOOD Foundation’s official Instagram account, the housing grant provided $5,000 to ‘those impacted by the housing crisis caused by the pandemic.’

The NAACP also said in a statement,
“The NAACP is committed to helping ensure African Americans maintain their wealth and financial security during this unprecedented time of COVID-19. We are partnering with BeyGOOD to provide one hundred grants up to $5,000 each to families who are delinquent in their home mortgage or rental payments.”
