Cardi B Attempting To Dismiss Defamation Case Against Her From Donald Trump Supporters
Cardi B wants a defamation case against her filed by a group of Donald Trump supporters thrown out.
As previously reported, Cardi B and her sister Hennessy Carolina were sued by Peter Caliendo, Pauline Caliendo, and Manuel Alarco after posting an alleged “edited video” and photos of an altercation between them Hennessy Carolina. She labeled them ‘racist MAGA supporters’ to millions of her social media followers.

Cardi B also shared the video in response to conservative political analyst Candace Owens stating that her music “contributes to the disintegration of black culture and values” amid her interview with then-presidential candidate Joe Biden.

She accused them of being “racist MAGA supporters” and they later sued Cardi B and Hennessy Carolina for defamation.
Cardi B has now requested for a judge to dismiss the case, claiming that they’re just using her because she’s a celebrity. She said the words were nothing more than her “opinion,” and don’t add up to defamation. She reportedly said in court documents,
“The remedy for thin skin is thicker skin, not a lawsuit.”
