Loni Love Says Nicki Minaj Was Once An Hour Late For ‘The Real’ Appearance, Adds ‘We Had To Go Buy Chicken For Her Whole Crew, It Was A Demand’

Loni Love is sharing her own experience with Nicki Minaj after audio of comedian Tiffany Haddish slamming the rapper surfaced earlier this week.

During a Clubhouse chat, Tiffany Haddish was called the “Nicki Minaj of Comedy.” She responded,

“Unlike Nicki I treat everybody with respect and dignity.”

When asked about Tiffany Haddish’s remarks on E!’s Nightly Pop, Loni Love said:

“Now she is correct. Nicki can be a little, um, not punctual because I had her on the show The Real, but girl, it’s worth it.”

She continued,

“She was about an hour [late]. And we had to go buy chicken for her whole crew.”

When asked why, Loni Love explained,

“We had to go buy chicken. It was a demand.”

She told host Nina Parker, 

“It was Popeye’s, girl. So I didn’t have a problem with that, right? Because I was like, ‘OK, let me go get it while we’re waiting.'”

She confirmed that she actually went to get the chicken herself.

“Oh yes I did. Because there was nothing to do! I went with the P.A. It was a lot of chicken, y’all. They wanted a lot.”

She went on to say,

“After I waited an hour, Nicki came, Nicki killed it, so it was worth the wait. And then when I went back to the dressing room all that chicken was there. I said, ‘This was worth it!’ Because I had the leftover chicken.”
