Cardi B To Parents Who Have An Issue With Her Grammy ‘WAP’ Performance: Your Child Should Be In Bed Ready For School, Why Are They Up Watching ‘WAP’?

Cardi B is still defending her sultry performance of “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion at the Grammy Awards.

On Wednesday night, she reacted to a video of her turning down the NSFW song when her two-year-old daughter Kulture walks in.

The Twitter user who posted the video wrote,

“This is how you know Cardi B knows right from wrong, yet STILL deliberately chooses to do wrong by girating and scissoring her WAP on national TV… in view of other people’s kids.”

Cardi B reacted,

The Grammies are PG .That means parental guidance.Meaning is your job like it is to mine to my child to monitor what they watch.”

She pointed out that the performance aired late at night and added,

“My performance was around 10 pm on a Sunday Your child should be in bed ready for school the next day why are they up watching Wap?”

Despite Cardi’s logic, the FCC has received complaints from 80 viewers, one who compared the show to strippers.
