Autographed Jay-Z Card Sells For Record High $105K In Auction
Jay-Z is making history yet again.
A trading card that he once autographed has sold for nearly $106,000, making it the highest-selling card outside of the sports industry.
SlabStox Sports Card Trading announced the sale on Instagram over the weekend. It shared a photo of the card with the caption,
“This is a public service announcement… a Jay-Z Topps Chrome Superfractor RC Auto 1/1 just sold for $105,780 via @goldinauctions…That marks the all-time record for a non-sports/TCG card.”

The price started at $500 but reached six figures after garnering 49 bids.
The sale comes after Jay-Z sold the majority stake in his TIDAL company to Twitter’s Jack Dorsey for $297 million.

LVMH also bought a majority stake in his popular Ace of Spades brand. Jay-Z reportedly made more than $300 million in that deal.

His income spiked 40 percent in two weeks, bringing his net worth to $1.4 billion.
It’s no wonder Grammy-nominated rapper Cardi B said she wants to be like the Brooklyn native.

She said recently,
“…He’s from the hood just like me. He’s from the hood and this man’s a whole billionaire. And that’s just all about strategy and that’s just all about shaking hands, that’s just all about putting plans together.”
