Safaree Shares That He Will No Longer Wear Fur Coats To Help Stop The ‘Extinction Of Living Things’
It looks like rapper/reality star Safaree Samuels is turning over a new leaf. Safaree recently took to his twitter and shared with the world that he no longer plans on wearing fur coats anymore. This may come as a shock to some because the 39-year-old entertainer has turned fur coats into a staple accessory piece for his personal brand over the years. Safaree has worn fur coats during multiple Love & Hip-Hop scenes, press interviews, and red carpet events. There are also images of him with his daughter in their own matching father/daughter fur coat sets on his IG page.

However, earlier today (Friday, April 2nd) Safaree sent off a few tweets and said that he will no longer be wearing fur coats because of documentaries he watched on Netflix. He tweeted,
“I’ve been watching these Netflix docs on our planet. And humans are really single handily going to extinct humans.”

He continued,
“The fishing industry is going to end the world . The illegal fishing and killing of dolphins and whales going on in Japan is unreal. Sharks will soon be extinct. I never knew how important sharks were to our waters until I watched seasspiracy on Netflix.”
He added,
“To the FUR world I’ve been ignorant 2 alot of things going on in our planet but now I will make a change and stop supporting the killing of any wildlife and the extinction of living things. I wish the police would feel like this about killing unarmed black men,but this is a start”
