Larsa Pippen & NBA Player Malik Beasley Break Up Amid His Divorce W/ Montana Yao

Larsa Pippen is reportedly back on the market.

The reality star and estranged wife of NBA great Scottie Pippen has reportedly called it quits with NBA player Malik Beasley.

As previously reported, the two were spotted holding hands late last year, despite Malik Beasley’s marriage to Montana Yao, who he tied the knot with in March 2020.

Montana Yao reacted to the photos by filing for divorce. She later alleged that the Minnesota Timberwolves player forced her and their child to their family home.

Larsa Pippen denied speculation that she broke up their marriage.

But it looks like she and Malik Beasley didn’t work out anyway. An insider told E! News,

“Larsa and Malik are not together. Things got hard with travel, etc. It was more of a timing thing. They’re still in communication but not together.”

They added,

“Larsa invested in a digital fitness brand called Tonal and just made a lot of money. She bought a new Ferrari to celebrate and is focused on her businesses.”

Meanwhile, Malik Beasley is also facing legal woes.

He was sentenced to 120 days in jail and three years of probation for threatening a family who was on his property with a gun in September.

Malik Beasley pleaded guilty in December.

The charges stem from an incident when he pulled an assault rifle on a couple and their 13-year-old daughter when they stopped outside of his house while on a Parade of Homes tour. His home was blocked off, and he allegedly walked up to the car with his rifle, knocked on the window, and told them to get off his property. He allegedly kept the gun pointed until they drove away.

Police arrived after receiving multiple calls about the rifle and searched the athlete’s home. There’s also surveillance footage of Malik Beasley grabbing the gun.

His lawyer, Steven Haney, said of the sentencing in a statement to ESPN:

“We are very pleased with this outcome that will allow Malik to continue working on becoming a better person and making better choices.”
