Caitlyn Jenner Reportedly Won’t Get Support From Kardashians In Her Race For Governor
The Kardashian family allegedly won’t be using their platform to help Caitlyn Jenner in her upcoming campaign for governor.
The reality star announced Friday (April 23rd) that she was running for governor of California.
Now, according to TMZ, the Kardashians don’t plan on helping her campaign because of their different views on certain issues.
Plus, Kris Jenner’s rocky relationship with Caitlyn Jenner reportedly makes things a little tense.
Before becoming Caitlyn Jenner, Bruce Jenner was married to Kris Jenner for more than 20 years. They also share daughters Kylie Jenner, 23, and Kendall Jenner, 25.
Bruce Jenner transitioned to Caitlyn Jenner in 2015, and ultimately had a major fallout with Kris Jenner and other members of the family over remarks she made about the momager.
They have since been able to make peace, but there are still issues between them. An insider added that while Kim Kardashian likes Caitlyn Jenner as a person, she doesn’t see herself as a conservative voter. The family has also disagreed with Caitlyn Jenner on issues like gay marriage, with she once was against but now supports.
Still, the Kardashians reportedly won’t endorse any candidate, including current governor Gavin Newsom.
