Halle Berry Shuts Down Negative Instagram Comment About Her Relationship With Van Hunt
Halle Berry is letting it be known that her man, Van Hunt, is all in!
Over the weekend, actress Halle Berry posted an intimate photo of herself sharing a kiss with her boyfriend, singer Van Hunt, to her Instagram account. Halle Berry is rocking a pair of floral bikini bottoms, a tee-shirt, and red sunglasses in the picture.
She captioned the image,
“we do this thing called whatever the f*ck we want!”
She then took the time to address a couple of remarks that fans left about her relationship.
One person replied in the photo’s comment section and shared that Halle, 54, has inspired her to love again. Halle wrote back,
“Never give up on love…Keep your heart open and it will find you!”
All the comments about Halle’s relationship with Van Hunt weren’t all good, however. One fan left a comment that said,
“I think you love him more than he loves you!”
Halle replied to the fan and revealed that isn’t the case at all. She wrote,
“ummmm don’t think so…not this time.”
Halle Berry and Van Hunt reportedly begin dating around August of last year. Initially, it seemed that the pair were trying to stay somewhat private about their relationship. However, a month later in September Halle shared a post to IG wearing a shirt with the name “Van Hunt” across the front. She captioned the image,
“now ya know…”
She also tagged him in the post.
Halle Berry hasn’t been silent about her thoughts this year. She previously made headlines earlier this year for calling out radio personality Rob Lederman for comparing her skin to his preferred toaster settings. He also mentioned Serena Williams and Gayle King’s skin tones in his commentary as well. Following his remarks, Halle Berry tweeted,
“Disgusting. It’s ridiculous this type of nonsense is still being broadcasted across airwaves. ALL Black women are beautiful and worthy, Rob Lederman. GTFOH.”
Rob Lederman’s comments caused him to be fired from his job at the Buffalo, New York-based 97 Rock radio station. He has since apologized for what he said on air.
Didn’t hear this live but internet keeps receipts. @97RockBuffalo morning hosts compared how they like their toast to black women’s skin tone. So just in case y’all missed it too, take a listen pic.twitter.com/6nVolu5a23
