Naomi Campbell is now a momma!

Earlier this morning (Tuesday, May 18th), the highly-esteemed supermodel and fashion icon took to Instagram and Twitter to share the exciting news. With a picture of a baby’s tiny beet resting within her hands, Naomi Campbell revealed that she has officially become a parent just before her 51st birthday. The caption reads:

“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

Naomi Campbell was also sure to tag one person in her Instagram post: her own mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell.

While the news came as a definitive surprise to the public, Naomi Campbell has been open about her love of children in the past. Back in a 2018 interview with Vogue, Naomi claimed:

“I’d love to have kids. I don’t discount anything in life. I love kids and always will. When I’m around children, I become a child myself. That’s the little girl I don’t ever want to lose.”

At this point, Naomi Campbell has not further commented on her motherhood announcement on any of her social media accounts.
