YFN Lucci Maintains His Innocence In A Message For His Fans After Being Denied Bond In Gang Racketeering Case
Rapper YFN Lucci is thanking his fans for standing by him and maintaining his innocence while he’s currently behind bars for his alleged involvement in a gang racketeering case. Today, June 10, YFN Lucci, born Rayshawn Bennett, shared an intimate massage to his supporters via his Instagram page. The text post read,
“Thank you all for your prayers and continued support. I am still incarcerated right now but I am maintaining my innocence. To all my fans who have continued to show love and support, I’ll have some new music and content on the way! – YFN Lucci”

As previously reported, last week a judge denied YFN Lucci, 30, bond for the gang racketeering charges he’s currently facing. The judge ruled,
“The defendant will remain in a no-bond status at this time. Additionally, this court revokes any bonds previously issued in this case.”
YFN Lucci was charged in connection to a homicide, the alleged murder of a man named James Adams, at the top of this year. He was later released on a $500,000 bond for four charges in February. However, after only a few months of freedom, in May YFN Lucci turned himself in at a Fulton County Jail for allegedly violating the terms of his release. According to reports, because of YFN Lucci’s celebrity status, he is being held in maximum security for his own protection.

Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, told WSB-TV that prosecutors are looking at a YouTube music video YFN Lucci was in to make their case.
“We think it sends of very strong message to the public that no matter who you are, you have to follow the law and the rules, and you will be evaluated the same.”
