Erica Mena & Safaree Samuels Welcome A Baby Boy Amid Divorce Drama
Congratulations are in order for Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels, as they recently welcomed a bundle of joy!
Yesterday (Monday, June 28th), Safaree Samuels went to Instagram to announce that he and his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Erica Mena, welcomed their second child together.

The former couple announced they were expecting a baby early last month.

However, just a few weeks later, Erica Mena filed for divorce. In the aftermath, Erica sought full custody of their daughter–Safire–and their then-unborn child. In turn, Safaree fought for joint custody and sought to be exempt from paying alimony.
Amid this drama, Safaree reportedly feared he would not be allowed into the delivery room when Erica gave birth. In response to reports on the matter, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Bambi made a post that defended Erica Mena‘s right to keep Safaree Samuels out of the delivery room, writing:
“When you’re giving birth you need someone by your side to support you and tell you it’s gonna be ok, pass you ice chips, hold your hand and put you at ease. If you are only allowed to have ONE person in the delivery room with you… why the hell would you choose to be in there with someone who don’t like you???? TF?”

However, judging by his Instagram uploads and surroundings, it appears as though Erica Mena allowed Safaree Samuels into the delivery room after all. This has not been officially confirmed with a statement by either party, though.
Congratulations again to Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels!
