Actor Kyle Massey’s Mother Addresses Claims He Sent Inappropriate Videos To 13-Year-Old Girl, Reveals He Had An Intimate Relationship W/ Alleged Victim’s Mother When He Was 16

Kyle Massey’s mother, Angel Massey, has spoken out amid reports he has been charged with a felony for allegedly sending explicit videos to a 13-year-old girl. Angel Massey revealed that Kyle Massey had a sexual relationship with the alleged victim’s mother when he was 16 years old, and suggested the mother is “scorned,” which is why she made the claims against him.

As previously reported, the former Disney star has been charged with one count of communication with a minor for immoral purposes. The case is linked to a $1.5 million civil suit that was filed against Kyle Massey in March 2019. He was accused of sending “numerous sexually explicit text messages, images, and videos”, but insisted the accuser was extorting him. The civil suit reportedly reached a dead end as the girl says her legal team didn’t think Kyle Massey had the funds to make the lawsuit worth the trouble, according to TMZ. She then filed a report with the Sheriff’s Office.

Police allege they started looking into the case early last year. The alleged victim’s mom said Kyle has known her daughter since she was four. The mother provided authorities with a thumb drive that included the inappropriate content Kyle allegedly sent via Snap Chat when her daughter was 13. The footage allegedly includes a video of a man (said to be Kyle), showing his genitals.

Now, his mother is addressing the allegations on his behalf. She shared an Instagram video yesterday (June 29th), and said:

“[This] is an old story! It’s the same family, it’s the same people, it’s the same little girl – which, it’s not the little girl, it’s the mom…This is basically one of those things, kind of like a scorned – in my opinion…like when a man gets a new job and the baby mama goes back to the courtroom to try to get more child support – it’s kind of synonymous to that.”

She added,

“She tried to extort us out of the $1.5 million. And I respectfully told her that we were going to take our chances with the justice system, and we’re going to do the same here. We did that in California, and she just took the same accusations, same news to Seattle. And we’re doing the same thing.”

She also wrote the caption,

“KYLE MASSEY: THIS HEADLINE TODAY IS OLD ACCUSATION FROM THE SAME MOM FROM 2019. The Seattle KINDRA ANDREAS WOMAN! She took the same CALIFORNIA COMPLAINT that she was unsuccessful in prosecuting and filed it in SEATTLE where she lives. MY SON KYLE IS THE VICTIM TODAY JUST AS HE WAS BACK ON FEBRUARY 14,2019 when we got the 1.5 MILLION DOLLAR EXTORTION DEMAND! #angelmassey#kylemassey#kindraandreas

She went on to share court documentations that date back to 2019 and show the woman’s lawyer suggesting a settlement to avoid drama in court. See that here and here.

Angel Massey also posted a letter from the alleged victim’s mother’s attorney that appears to allege Kyle actually sent the photos to the 13-year-old’s mother, not the child. See that here.

She went on to clarify how she knows the alleged victim’s family and said Kyle, now 29, had a sexual relationship with the mother starting when he was 16.

“Kyle met the mom when he was 16 years old in California…They developed a relationship, started having sex. Kyle was 16, she’s seven years older than him. The relationship lasted over several years, not consistently but over the years. That’s how Kyle knows her. So he knows the mother. He had an intimate, sexual relationship with the mother.”

She added,

“Even though he consented to having sex with her at 16, in the state of California that’s illegal because a minor can’t consent to sex. That’s how Kyle knows this mother, and he never sent anything to a minor. This is an old attempt from the extortion in 2019.”
