Kanye West Reportedly Assisted Kim Kardashian W/ KKW Beauty Rebrand Amid Pending Divorce

Divorce can be rough, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t letting their split prevent them from handling business together!

As previously reported, Kim Kardashian is temporarily shutting down KKW Beauty next month. In addition to improving customers’ shopping experiences, the reality star-turned-entrepreneur is working on:

“New formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look.”

After her announcement, many began speculating that the rebrand was also to remove the ‘W’ from KKW Beauty, which stands for Kim Kardashian West Beauty. This speculation came as a result of Kim Kardashian filing for divorce from Kanye West less than five months ahead of her rebrand announcement.

However, a source close to the situation claims that the rebrand has nothing to do with their divorce, and that Kim‘s legal name is still Kim Kardashian West. The source told WWD:

“Kim is still Kim Kardashian West and has not changed her legal name. The rebrand has been in the works for some time. Kanye actually helped Kim come up with the new name, the packaging, the formulas and even the shopping experience of being able to shop all categories in beauty and cosmetics under one brand, one website [which] has always been Kim’s vision from the beginning. She is incredibly excited about this next phase.”

Similarly, a source reportedly told Page Six Style:

“Fun little fact, Kanye helped come up with the new name.”

However, the new name for KKW Beauty has not been publicly revealed. Resultingly, it’s unclear whether the ‘W’ will remain in KKW Beauty’s branding. Despite the mystery, one thing’s clear: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly still collaborating as business partners!
