Could two iconic comedians become in-laws one day?

Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, is going strong with Eric Murphy, whose father is none other than Eddie Murphy.

Jasmin Lawrence wished Eric Murphy a happy birthday over the weekend, putting their relationship into the public eye. She shared a snapshot of the two of them all smiles with the caption,

“Happy birthday, my love! I’m so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side. Cheers to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories! I love you so much!!”

She added a photo of him kissing her on the cheek.

It’s not clear how long they’ve been dating but Eric Murphy also shared a sweet message for Jasmin Lawrence last month. He posted a photo of them together with the caption,

“Head over heels in LOVE with YOU @jasmin_lawrence [four heart Emojis] #myotherhalf#equallyyoked#iloveyou“

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence certainly aren’t strangers to one another’s work. They both starred in the 1992 film Boomerang. 

They were also the lead roles in the movie Life, which was released in 1999.

More recently, they posed together with Will Smith and Wesley Snipes in October 2019. At the time, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were taping Bad Boys 4 at the same studio where Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes were filming Coming 2 America.
