EXCLUSIVE: ‘VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition’ Is Allegedly Getting A Second Season
If you loved the first season of VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition, then we have some good news for you!
As EXCLUSIVELY reported by theJasmineBRAND, the series has allegedly been greenlit for a second season. It is currently unclear whether season 2 will bring in different cast members from the franchise or carry over the same season 1 stars.
VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition debuted back in February, and had 7 episodes. The series is essentially a crossover of various different Love & Hip Hop branches. Yandy Smith-Harris, Mendeecees Harris, and his mother–Judy Harris–were on the series to represent Love & Hip Hop: New York.
When it comes to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Lil Scrappy, Momma Dee, Bambi, Yung Joc, Karlie Redd, Erica Dixon, and Sierra Gates were brought in.
Additionally, Ray J, Lil’ Fizz, Apryl Jones, and Paris Phillips represented Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
Finally, Love & Hip Hop: Miami brought in Trina, Trick Daddy, and Joy Young to star on the series.
In addition to these stars, some of their children also appeared on VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition. Specifically, both Trick Daddy and Yung Joc‘s sons starred in the series, and Karlie Redd‘s daughter appeared as well.
With such a cross-generational lineup, it’s no surprise that a large portion of the series was centered on addressing tensions and misunderstandings between the castmates. However, there was always room for some fun as well!
