EXCLUSIVE: Brandy’s Daughter Sy’rai Smith Is Allegedly Working On A Music Project, Speculated To Be An EP

Sy’rai Smith, Brandy‘s daughter, may be gearing up to follow in her mother’s musical footsteps!

theJasmineBRAND EXCLUSIVELY reports, Sy’rai Smith is allegedly preparing a musical project. Sources tell us that it’s likely an EP. Sy’rai Smith has been sharing her musical interests on social media. The 19-year-old posted a TikTok with her mother in what appears to be a studio.

While this would be Sy’rai‘s first full-on musical project, she’s actually collaborated with her mother before! Last year, Brandy released her seventh studio album–B7. On the song “High Heels,” Sy’rai sang a verse–marking her commercial debut!

Regarding the collaboration, Brandy gushed about Sy’rai‘s musical growth and prowess. She said:

“Just beautiful to see her grow into this beautiful musician, this young artist that’s coming into her own.”

During a separate interview with The Talk, Brandy also stated:

“It’s my job to teach her everything I know about this business and about singing. But at the same time, [I want to] give her the space to find her own sound, find her own path, and just be here in the wings whenever she needs me. But I’m just so proud of her. She’s so brave for embracing her music and her artistry. I can’t wait to see how far she goes with it.”

On top of her burgeoning musical career, Sy’rai also owns her own clothing company–Privileged Apparel LA, which launched in 2019.

It is unclear when Sy’rai‘s music project will drop.
