Luenell Explains Flashing Multiple Incarcerated Men On Instagram Live: I Just Wanted To Boost The Morale Of The Fellas
Luenell is supporting inmates in her own special way!
Yesterday (Thursday, July 15th), Luenell appeared on The Wendy Williams Show. While there, Wendy Williams brought up a recent viral video involving Luenell and a few inmates. While on Instagram Live with some incarcerated men, the 62-year-old comedienne proceeded to flash them! After being asked what influenced her decision to do so, Luenell claimed:
“Having been formerly incarcerated myself, I know how lonely it can get behind bars. And I just wanted to boost the morale of the fellas. You would be surprised how excited they got for this old t*ttie. It was just a little gesture–just a little moment in time. Just a little gesture of communion, you know what I’m saying?”

This was not the first time Luenell discussed her previous incarceration. During an EXCLUSIVE interview with theJasmineBRAND earlier this year, Luenell recalled going to jail for embezzling money from her banking job for many years. She said:
“When I first started doing comedy, I was working at a bank. I had banking experience–lots and lots of banking experience. That was why I knew that the bank that I was working at was about to fail. And being the hustler that I thought I was, I said ‘Well Imma get some of this money before this bank goes to h*ll.’ So I robbed a bank–embezzlement, if you wanna call it that [because] I worked [there]. Got away with it for over 10 years, then I finally got popped by the feds.
She continued:
“I went to jail and I did 4 months and 18 days on a year bid at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles… Every job I worked I found out a way to scam s**t, and I’ve only ever just had one desire–and that was to have money. It was a by any means necessary-type thing… If I hadn’t have took as much money as I did, I would’ve got away with it… But I took so much money it was a felony… But I’m reformed now! I would not take a dollar off a pool table. I pay my f***ing taxes and all that good s**t.”
