Lyfe Jennings Claims American Airlines Employees Continually Questioned Whether He Belonged In First Class While Boarding A Recent Flight: This Same S**t Always Happens

Lyfe Jennings has shared an alleged he had with American Airlines, and it’s one that many may find all-too-familiar.

Earlier today (Friday, July 16th), Lyfe Jennings uploaded a video to Instagram that he took while boarding a first-class American Airlines flight. In the video, viewers can see Lyfe Jennings being held up at the gate by a white employee who asked the singer if there would be any problems on the flight at least three times. Additionally, Lyfe Jennings brought up how a white woman working for the airline allegedly badgered him regarding whether he was supposed to be in first class or not.

He further explained the alleged situation in his caption, writing:

“@americanair please please please repost!!! Sick of this s**t!!! Lady asked me 4 times did I know this was the 1st class line [and] I told her yes every time. She told me to stop and talk to her. I told her get the f**k out my face, I told u I can read and I know what line this is. She say you’re not flying but of course I get my ticket. Get to gate and this man is asking if I’m gonna have a problem on the aircraft cause [he] heard I had a problem. I tell him no and he ask me 3 more times wtf??? Wasn’t until I started recording that he let me get on the flight! I don’t gotta answer no questions!!! It’s too early I paid for my ticket [and] I can read!!!!”

He continued:

“I can’t tell y’all how many time[s] a white man or white woman has asked me to step out of line to ask if I’m supposed to be flying first class. This s**t is OVER!!!! DON’T ASK ME S**T!!!! I PAID FOR MY FLIGHT I KNOW WHAT LINE I’M IN GET THE F***NESS GONE!!!! GO SPEND THAT SLAVE MONEY!!!!! I don’t owe u s**t @americanair I’m sooooooo sick of this cause I fly sooooo much and this same s**t always happens!!!!!!!! Wtf!!!!!! #frusterated f***ing embarrassing all the white people in line and I KEEP getting stopped!!!!!!! S**t be depressing.”

American Airlines has not publicly responded to the allegations.
