Carmelo Anthony Agrees To One-Year Contract With Los Angeles Lakers
Carmelo Anthony is taking his talents to the Lakers.
According to ESPN reports, he has agreed to sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
Anthony seemingly confirmed on social media.
According to national NBA reporter Marc Stein, Anthony also weighed interest from the New York Knicks, the franchise he spent seven seasons with from 2010-2017.
The Lakers agreed to sign Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, Wayne Ellington and Kent Bazemore since the start of the free agency period.
Anthony will also reunite with former teammate Russell Westbrook, who recently signed with the Lakers.
