Boosie Says ‘Gay People Not After Me In The Real World’ As He Addresses His Threats Against Lil Nas X

Boosie is clearing the air on questionable comments he made about Lil Nas X.

During a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Boosie, born Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., was seemingly called out for saying he wanted to beat up 22-year-old Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, following a performance the young rapper gave at an award show. Charlamagne told Boosie, 38, that saying he wants to beat up Lil Nas X could possibly be encouraging violence and harm against the gay community. However, Boosie didn’t agree.

“Nah, I’m not. Like I don’t have violence against gay people. I just told you, gay people not after me in the real world. This is just social media. The world did this.”

He continued,

“They even have gay people at my concerts. In the real world, people respect me for standing up and they gon’ take me a long way in life. Regardless, if ain’t no other rappers spoke about it, that singles me out.”

When Charlamagne mentioned again that Boosie’s comments could be encouraging violence against the gay community the ‘Period’ rapper replied,

“If I was there at the awards on the front row and [Lil Nas X] got naked right there I would drag him off the stage.”

He continued and claimed that his issues with the performance aren’t about Lil Nas X’s sexuality, but no one should be naked at an award show that has children present. When asked if he would feel the same way if a stripper was performing he said,

“You ain’t finna turn this around about the strippers on me.”
