Lupe Fiasco Is Still Not A Fan Of Kid Cudi: F**k Cudi 4 Life
Lupe Fiasco recently had some things to say about Kid Cudi on Twitter!
Earlier today (Friday, Sept. 3rd), Drake finally dropped Certified Lover Boy. One of the most highly-anticipated songs on the album was Drake‘s track with Kid Cudi, “IMY2.”
However, as Kid Cudi fans relished in the song, Lupe Fiasco made it clear that there is still bad blood between the artists. Lupe Fiasco began his series of now-deleted tweets when a Twitter user asked if he was going to skip Kid Cudi‘s part. Lupe Fiasco quote tweeted it and wrote:
“F**k cudi 4 life.”
He later continued, claiming Kid Cudi was not a superior artist:
However, Lupe Fiasco did ultimately acknowledge that, while he dislikes Kid Cudi, he considers his debut album a classic:
“Man on the moon album [is a] classic… but that f**k that n***a… hahaha.”
Kid Cudi has not responded to Lupe Fiasco‘s tweets.
It’s also worth noting that, in addition to his feature on Certified Lover Boy, Kid Cudi also recently provided a well-received verse on “Moon”–one of the songs on Kanye West‘s Donda album.
The drama between Kid Cudi and Lupe Fiasco goes years back. It appears to have started when Kid Cudi accused Lupe Fiasco of ripping off fans by charging $500 for a personalized verse. Since then, the pair has exchanged various jabs with each other over the years. At one point in 2016, Lupe Fiasco even claimed Kid Cudi “needs his a** beat.”
