Tyler Perry Jokes About Kim Kardashian Stealing Her Met Gala Look From Madea
Tyler Perry has brought back his iconic character Madea to give commentary over Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala look. Last week this year’s Met Gala took place and the theme was In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. Many A-list celebrities hit the red carpet for the fashion ball to show off their unique and extravagant looks. Kim Kardashian was in attendance and wore an all-black Balenciaga outfit that featured a dramatic black split train and facial covering.

In a separate IG post, Kim Kardashian shared the inspiration behind her look.

The film character Madea, portrayed by Tyler Perry, jokingly accused Kim of stealing her fashion idea for the Met Gala. In a short video clip shared online, Madea said,
“I’m not talking to Kardashenen no more. See, I knew something was wrong this why I can’t mess with her, that Kim.”
She added,
“She gon’ ask me ‘what you wearing?’ And I told her what I was wearing and I described it to her and everything. She said ‘oh, wow. That’s hot.’ Right! And then you know what she did? Stole what I was gon’ d*mn put on.”
