Steve Harvey Says Daughter Lori Harvey’s Relationship With Michael B. Jordan: Is “The First Time She’s Been Happy”

Steve Harvey Says He’s Happy For Daughter Lori Harvey’s Relationship With Michael B. Jordan: ‘It’s The First Time She’s Been Happy.’

Steve Harvey,64, is opening up about his daughter, Lori Harvey, and her relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan.

In a new interview, the comedian and talk-show host couldn’t help but boast about his daughter’s budding romance with the Black Panther star. On their relationship he said,

“I don’t speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I’m happy for my daughter right now. I really am. It’s the first time I’ve been happy for her and it’s the first time she’s been happy.” 

As for MJB himself, Steve Harvey said,

“He’s just a good guy. If he wasn’t, get him out of here, ’cause I have ways. But I can’t say nothing bad, man. He’s just got a great family, man. He’s a spiritual guy.” 

He jokingly added,

“He’s not the sexiest man alive to me, at all. I haven’t seen it. I haven’t seen anything sexy yet. But I’m a father. I don’t give a d*** if you cute, I just want somebody to treat my princess the way I treat her.”

Steve Harvey’s comments are not a surprise being that he’s been ‘unable to find something bad’ about Jordan. In an interview with Ellen, he previously said,

“But this guy, is such a good guy, man. He is one of the nicest guys. I’ve met his father. I’ve sat up with him, we’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him!”

Lori Harvey,24, and Michael B. Jordan,34, sparked dating rumors around Thanksgiving of last year before going public via Instagram in January 2021.

While visiting The Real talk show, Lori Harvey also opened up about her relationship saying,

“We just really balance each other. I really do believe in the statement when they say, “when you know you know.” And I think that really applies to our situation and we just have a really good time together. He’s so sweet, very attentive. He listens to me and the things that I say that I want and he really makes an effort.”
