Reginae Carter Explains Her Twitter Was Hacked After She Appeared To Sell PS5s Online: I Understand Your Frustration About Losing Your Money
Reginae Carter is the latest celebrity to have to deal with a hacked social media account. Yesterday (Sunday, Oct. 17) 22-year-old Reginae Carter, who is the daughter of Toya Johnson, 37, and Lil Wayne, 39, shared via her Instagram stories that she isn’t the one scamming people on her Twitter page. Someone recently tweeted from the hacked Twitter account as Reginae Carter and claimed that the young media personality/actress is selling PlayStation 5s.
Unfortunately, fans appear to have been scammed out of money by the hacker and never received the popular game console they ordered from Reginae Carter’s Twitter. Reginae expressed empathy towards her wronged fans but explained that she no longer has access to the account. She wrote on Instagram,
“Hey guys, I understand your frustration about losing your money but my Twitter was hacked.”
She continued,
“If I had a PS5 to give away… I would give it to my little brothers or something. Not sell it. Especially on Twitter.”
She added,
“That Twitter is hacked and I’m logged out!!! So sad. I’ve been having that page since I was like 14/15…”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the former ‘Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta’ reality star has regained access to her page, which has over 900,000 followers. Earlier today (Monday, Oct. 18) the hackers sent out another tweet claiming they have 3 more PS5s available for purchase.
It’s unclear when Reginae’s Twitter page was hacked but on Oct. 5 a video of the young entertainer was sent from the account.
