Some people attending Teyana Taylor‘s Halloween party had an unexpected real-life scare!

Like many other people, Teyana Taylor hosted a Halloween party this past Saturday night (Oct. 30th). The singer-turned-reality TV star held her event at Hollywood’s Sunset Room, and the festivities were open to the public. However, Teyana Taylor‘s Halloween bash was ultimately jeopardized by a trio of armed men who attempted to rob three women outside the event space.

According to recent reports, a few women were standing outside the venue when they were approached by three armed men. The unknown assailants attempted to rob the partygoers–even reportedly pistol-whipping one woman. A nearby security officer then got involved and exchanged gunfire with the men, causing them to flee the scene. No bullets made contact, and authorities report that nothing was actually stolen from the three women.

Teyana Taylor does not appear to have publicly commented on the matter.

This news comes a little over a month after the 30-year-old star announced her final tour, “The Last Rose Petal.” Her farewell tour kicks off this upcoming Sunday (Nov. 7th) in San Francisco. She shared the news through Instagram back on Sept. 22nd, captioning her upload:

How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard…. However for every goodbye God makes the next hello closer. Come out and watch me, leave it all out on the stage… One last time… Just for you & as my last rose petal falls, I say farewell….”
