NLE Choppa Recalls A Past Fling’s Ex Pulling A Gun On Him: I’m From Memphis The Gun Don’t Mean Nothing – You Gon’ Have To Show Me You Gon’ Use It
NLE Choppa is opening up about a time a former fling’s ex pulled a gun on him. In an interview on Angela Yee’s Lip Service, the rapper recalls getting into a fight where someone pointed a gun at him in a UCLA dorm after sleeping with a fling. He says,
“I try to keep my distance if a motherf*cker in a relationship now or coming off one I try to stay out of that. I remember I was at a UCLA dorm – they had broke up and stuff but the n*gga was stalking her. That’s why I don’t go to nobody place…I went back to her dorm. We in the middle of having sex she get a call from him… blowing her sh*t up…he texting her ‘I’m outside this b*tch I just seen you walk in with this n*gga’ and all this and I’m like looking at her – I’m like bruh what you want me to go out there? I’ll put my clothes on and go out there.”
He continues and says she said,
“Stay in here stay in here.”
NLE Choppa adds,
“It’s the next morning and as soon as she opens the door the n*gga right there with a n*gga behind him.”
The 19-year-old continued and later said,
“This n*gga walk through the door and his n*gga behind him. Soon as he walk he move a little bit and I see his n*gga got a gun. He got the gun on him but….I ain’t gon’ lie I’m from Memphis. The gun don’t mean nothing you gon’ have to show me you gon’ use it.”
After telling the gunman to pull the trigger the two started fist fighting. NLE Choppa later tells Angela Yee,
“I’m telling you he was pump faking the whole time…It’s crazy how I get though when I get in situations like that I be bragging on myself I be crazy I’m like ‘d*mn I really just told this n*gga pull this motherf*cking gun.”
