Adele Announces Las Vegas Residency For 2022
It looks like Adele is not taking it easy for the upcoming year. The 33-year-old singer just announced her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace called “Weekends with Adele.” The show will run from January 21 to April 16 with a break for the weekend of February 18-19 due to Van Morrison playing that weekend.

The announcement comes just after Adele’s new album 30 becomes the fastest selling album in both the USA and the UK. Released on November 19, the British singer’s fourth studio album also became the most successful album of the year in the US just three days after release, according to MRC data reported by Billboard. Tickets will go on sale in early December.
Adele is on the cusp of another successful moment in music after her six year hiatus. The english singer- songwriter returned with her album as an ode to some of the turmoil she experienced in that time period. Adele told Harpers Bazaar:
“I’ve been obsessed with the nuclear family my whole life because I never came from one. In all these movies and all these books, when you grow up reading them, that’s what it should be. I just, from a very young age, promised myself that when I had kids, that we’d stay together. We would be that united family. And I tried for a really, really long time.”

With this album, the songstress hopes to provide a layout for her son to be able to understand why she had to change his life for the sake of saving her happiness. Adele is now in a public relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.
