DJ Envy & Wife Gia Casey Celebrate The Birth Of Their Sixth And Last Child

The Breakfast Club host DJ Envy’s family has a new addition.

DJ Envy’s wife, Gia Casey, announced the birth of their sixth child–a baby girl– yesterday (Nov. 30) in an Instagram post where she shared a picture of herself admiring her newborn. She captioned it:

“Special Delivery!!! @djenvy and mommy, WE DID IT!!! My beautiful mother’s spirit was right here with me on this day and standing beside me in the room as we welcomed our new baby into the world…”

She continued:

“She is a a gift unlike any other that I have ever received because, with my mother’s spirit, she represents the full circle of life and the love that God has for me and my family… She gave me strength during the absolute worst time of my life, and comfort knowing that my mother and God had prepared something special to help carry me through…”

“Peyton Blair Casey arrived on November 28, 2021 at 2:58 AM…She was born with three pushes at 7lbs. 3.5 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.”

Gia’s mother Norma Grante sadly died in May of 2021. She appeared to be very close to her mother and even set her wedding date to Mother’s Day back in 2001 to honor her.

Shortly after she paid tribute to her mother with an Instagram post on May 9, she announced that she was three months pregnant with Peyton on May 13. Gia also mentioned that Peyton would be herself and DJ Envy’s last child.

DJ Envy and Gia were high school sweethearts and met in the early ’90s. They were 15 and 16 years old. Peyton joins older siblings Madison, 20, Logan, 18, London, 8, Jaxson, 7, and Brooklyn, 5.
