Kelly Rowland Explains Why Her Son Received COVID Vaccine [VIDEO]
Kelly Rowland Says She Was Informed ‘This Vaccine Is Going To Give Him A Sense Of Freedom’ As She Explains Why Her Son Received The COVID Vaccine
Kelly Rowland appears to be doing everything she can to protect her family from COVID.
Kelly Rowland, 40, is a woman that wears many different hats in her day-to-day life including entertainer, wife, and mom. Recently, the mother-of-2 shared via her Instagram page a post explaining why she decided to get her oldest son, 7-year-old Titan, vaccinated. According to the ‘Motivation’ singer, her godfather, who is a doctor, was a huge help in her making the decision on if she should get her young son the COVID vaccine or not. She said,
“It was really from my godfather. He’s a doctor and he has read up on everything. And it was very simple for him. He was just like ‘get my baby vaccinated.’ It was not like, not a thought at all.”
She continued,
“He just wanted him to feel safer. He was like, ‘he’s going to have this sense of like, being a kid again and a sense of normalcy.’ Again, that really meant a lot to him, and that means a lot to me as well. But that was a main thing for him. He’s just like there’s so many other things, you know, that can really affect our kids that we probably do by accident every day. He was like, ‘this vaccine is going to give him a sense of freedom again.’”
Kelly Rowland captioned her post,
“I’m so thankful to talk to other moms and experts about COVID vaccines. I feel like this comes up on every phone call I have, including one with my godfather, who is a doctor—he just said, “get my baby vaccinated–this vaccine is going to give him a sense of freedom again.” We are all in this together.”
Kelly also posted a video with her youngest child, 10-month-old Noah, singing a remix to the popular song ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.’ Instead of the normal lyrics Kelly jokingly sang,
“Have yourself a COVID free a** Christmas”
