Cardi B Stands Up For Lil’ Kim Against Cyberbullies: I’m Tired Of It & It’s Heartbreaking
Cardi B isn’t here for people cyberbullying fellow rap star Lil’ Kim.
In addition to being a very successful rapper, Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, is known for speaking her truth and standing her ground. The 29-year-old rapper has recently turned her attention to speaking out against the online bullying that Lil’ Kim, born Kimberly Jones, deals with. On Dec. 21 a Twitter user tweeted,
“Watching @LilKim get bullied, mocked, and disrespected by thousands of people online is really upsetting. The other day it was because of her halftime performance and now it’s because of a role she played in a movie. At what point will this weird hate bandwagon for Lil’ Kim end?”
Cardi B responded to the tweet and added,
“I’m tired of it and it’s heartbreaking…She’s is so sweet ,supportive and a REAL F*CKIN LEGEND ..I remember when I used to beef wit b*tches and I used to put on my MySpace her song F*CK YOU![laughing face emoji] I think it gotta be these 2000’s born kids on this app that don’t know about sh*t!”

Another Twitter user then seemingly accused Cardi B of being a fake supporter of Lil’ Kim, 47, and asked the mother-of-two when she was going to collab with the ‘Crush On You’ rapper. Cardi replied,
“What do a collab go to do with someone constantly getting CYBER BULLY? before a artist I am a woman wit feelings and I know how much it hurts to constantly get picked on…When I collab wit her is going to be at the right time & the right song.I don’t rush BIG MOMENTS!”

One of Cardi’s fans shared an old interview where the New York native spoke on waiting until the “right time” to work with Lil’ Kim. Cardi retweeted the post and said,
“BEEN SAYING THIS .THANK YOU.I don’t rush things and I say this in all my interviews.Until I don’t have the right song for a artist I’m not going to rush it cause if the song don’t make sense and it don’t do good then I will feel terrible..It don’t take away from her greatest”
