EXCLUSIVE: Producer Carlos King Says Upcoming Season Of Real Housewives of Atlanta, “May Be One Of The Best Seasons”

In an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND.com producer Carlos King revealed his excitement for the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”! The self proclaimed “King of Reality TV” produced eight seasons of the hit Bravo show. Since then, Carlos King has taken his talents to The OWN Network, producing reality tv show, “Love & Marriage: Huntsville”, which quickly became the highest rated unscripted show on the OWN network since 2019.

During our exclusive interview, Carlos shared his enthusiasm about the cast of RHOA’s season 14 and long time friend of the show, Marlo Hampton finally becoming a full time cast member.

“One thing I’m hearing about the new cast members is their bringing it, which is great… You got Marlo [Hampton] who has a peach, which I think is a great idea and ‘m really looking forward to this new season.”

Although Carlos is no longer producing RHOA, he claims to still have his “ears to the streets”. He revealed that RHOA is getting a new show runner this season who actually still works on “The Real Housewives of Potomac” and is one of Carlos’ mentees.

“He’s doing a fabulous job…I think this may be one of the best seasons. Just based on what the word is on the street. I’m personally looking forward to watching this upcoming season… You got Sheree [Whitfield] that’s back and Sheree’s good tv. I’m looking forward to it.”

As previously reported, Shereé Whitfield–an OG cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta–was confirmed to be returning to the series in October. She will be joined by Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burris, Drew Sidora, and Sanya Richards-Ross. While we do not have a premiere date for the upcoming season, it looks it will be a season filled with drama. theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported last week (Dec.20) that co-stars Sanya Richards-Ross, 36, and actress Drew Sidora, 36, are feuding. According to our sources, the two ladies are allegedly not getting along while filming and they recently got into a very heated verbal altercation.

More drama follows as RHOA frenemies, Marlo Hampton and Kenya Moore are at odds once again. As previously reported, the two ladies unfollowed each other on Instagram earlier this month. It is unclear what sparked this change and where the two stand today.

Just last month, (Nov. 16), Kenya exclusively told The Jasmine Brand that they were content with one another. She said:

“We’re in a good place, you know, she doesn’t know how to return phone calls! But yeah, we’re in a good place. Marlo is the type of person that when she is in a relationship and a friendship with you she definitely is for you.”

She continued:

“She knew that I didn’t really start that drama with her but I understood why her feelings were hurt also. And I had to acknowledge that.”
