EXCLUSIVE: Nicki Minaj–Jennifer Hough’s Lawyer Confirms Harassment Case Against Rapper Is Voluntarily Dismissed– Kenneth Petty Case Still Ongoing
It appears new details have emerged involving Jennifer Hough’s lawsuit against Nicki Minaj. According to reports, Jennifer Hough has dismissed her harassment case against rapper Nicki Minaj. However, the case against Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty is still ongoing. In legal documents released Wednesday (Jan.12), it is revealed that the lawsuit against Nicki Minaj has been voluntarily dismissed.

In an exclusive statement from Jennifer’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, he tells us,
“The case was voluntarily dismissed as to Nicki in NY. The case against Kenneth is ongoing. As for anything further concerning Nicki, stay tuned!”
As previously reported, Nicki Minaj and her husband–Kenneth Petty–have been involved in a harassment lawsuit since earlier this year. The case was brought on by Jennifer Hough, who was reportedly sexually assaulted by Petty back in 1995. Hough filed the lawsuit after the couple allegedly started pressuring her to recant her accusation. This allegedly began after Kenneth Petty was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

In August, Jennifer sued Nicki Minaj, claiming the rapper and her legal team had offered to pay Jennifer to change her story about what happened with Kenneth. Jennifer Hough then spoke out publicly in an exclusive interview on The Real in September. She detailed the case and spoke about the accusations against Petty, also accusing the couple of harassing her.
Nicki Minaj has yet to comment publicly on the new developments involving the case.
