Do you think Michael B Jordan has what it takes to be the next 007?
It seems like Michael B Jordan has unexpectedly landed at the center of a heated debate. Recently an image was shared online that features multiple actors including Michael B Jordan, 34, Regé-Jean Page, 33, Idris Elba, 49, Daniel Kaluuya, 32, Tom Holland, 25, and Chris Hemsworth, 38. The text located above the well-known actors featured on the post reads,
“Who should be the next James Bond?”

After the question went viral, Michael B Jordan became a trending topic on Twitter as numerous people expressed that they don’t think the ‘Creed’ actor is ready to play James Bond.

Michael B Jordan has been acting professionally since the late 90s. Despite some people questioning his acting ability, he already has a few notable roles under his belt, including starring in the popular sports drama film series ‘Creed.’ Both ‘Creed’ and ‘Creed II’ have obtained critical and commercial success. According to reports, the 3rd installment of the film series will be released this November and will reportedly be Michael B Jordan’s directorial debut.
He also portrayed the infamous character Erik Killmonger in the 2018 film ‘Black Panther.’
In addition to that, you can also watch Michael B Jordan in other popular films such as ‘Fruitvale Station,’ ‘Hardball,’ and his latest project ‘A Journal for Jordan,’ which was released last month.
The debate around who should be the next James Bond is nothing new. As previously reported, last September Idris Elba also found himself in the trending spotlight as fans shared that they think the role should go to the English actor.

However, a source for the ‘James Bond’ franchise shared that Idris Elba won’t be getting the leading role but he could possibly play a villain. They said,
“Idris has had informal talks with the studio and he has been told there is a role in the next Bond film for him, if he wants it.”
The insider added,
“He won’t be the title character, but they do recognize the amount of pull and respect he commands, and they want to work with him on a completely original character for the next installment.”
”It is very early days for the conversation but, so far, it looks like it would be the role of a villain.”
Reports have also mentioned Regé-Jean Page as a top contender and a fan-favorite for the 007 role.
