Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Star Jennie Nguyen Slammed For Controversial Racist Posts

Things are not looking good for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jennie Nguyen! Fans are calling for her to be fired from the show after several controversial Facebook posts from 2020 has resurfaced. Majority of the posts seem to be racially geared towards black people and denouncing Black Lives Matter. Some of her posts also appear to be promoting “White Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter”. These controversial posts were shared on Jennie Nguyen’s, 44, Facebook page over a six month span in 2020 amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.

One post shared in September 2020, reads,

“I’m sick of people saying cops need more training. You had 18 years to teach your kids it’s wrong to loot, steal, set buildings a blaze, block traffic, laser people’s eyes, overturn cars, destroy buildings and attack citizens. Who failed who?”

Jennie Nguyen, who is Vietnamese, allegedly shared a controversial post, seemingly denouncing Black Lives Matter and blaming black people for police brutality. It reads,

“Hundreds of blacks shot and many killed (including children) by other blacks every week. Over a thousand Officers violently injured, some permanently, by rioters. Anarchists rioting in major cities every night, which has caused billions of dollars of destruction to private and public property. And you still think Police Officers are the problem. You are an idiot.”

As a newbie to the franchise, Jennie received kudos from many viewers for bringing the heat her first season and not being afraid to speak up to her other cast members. She even confronted cast member Mary Cosby for making a racially insensitive remark when she told Nguyen that she has “nice slanted eyes”. This now seems pretty ironic seeing that Jennie is now facing major backlash for her own racially insensitive comments.
