Steve Harvey Says He’s The “Flyest 64 Year Old On The Planet”
Steve Harvey seems to have no shame when it comes to feeling himself!
Entertainer Steve Harvey, 64, has many titles under his belt including actor, comedian, TV host, and radio personality. He is definitely multi-talented and it seems like it’s time to add “fashion icon” to the list of what Steve Harvey is known for. During a recent interview, Harvey shared high praises that he has for himself as he revealed what made him take NFTs and the business world more seriously. He said,
“Getting involved in the NFT – you look at a revenue stream that’s really high right now and it doesn’t require you to go out there and do what I’ve been doing the majority of my career, which is make appearances.”
He continued,
“I’ve been making appearance money for so long and I decided years ago that it was time to pivot. Because – look, nothing lasts forever, you know. I’m a fabulous 64! You know, I’m like the flyest 64 year old on the planet, that’s my title. It’s self-imposed but I like it.”

He added,
“[However,] I know that I’m not going to be able to just appear the rest of my life.”
Earlier this year Harvey made headlines after revealing that cancel culture is why he ultimately retired from stand-up comedy. He said,
“We’re in the cancel culture now. Nobody can say anything he wants to — Chris Rock can’t, Kevin Hart can’t, Cedric the Entertainer can’t, D.L. Hughley can’t. I can go down the list. The only person that can say what they want to say on stage is Dave Chappelle because he’s not sponsor-driven. He’s subscription.”
He added,
“If I had tried to continue as a stand-up [comedian], there’s no way I could maintain it because political correctness has killed comedy, has killed it..Every joke now, it hurts somebody’s feelings. What people don’t understand about comedians is that a joke has to be about something. It has to be about somebody. We can’t write jokes about puppies all the time. The joke can’t be about bushes all the time. Some of these jokes have to be about people — because that’s the most interesting topic. So if I come back, I have to wait until I’m done [with my TV career]. And I’m not done. I’d have to call it This Is It or something like that.”
