Kanye West Samples Kim Kardashian’s SNL Monologue, Shades Pete Davidson, Premieres Song Featuring Soulja Boy & Throws Mic Out Of Frustration At ‘Donda 2’ Listening Party
It seems like there was a lot of good, bad, and ugly that went down at Kanye “Ye” West’s highly anticipated “Donda 2” listening party.
Yesterday (Feb. 22) Kanye West premiered tracks from his latest musical project “Donda 2” during a live listening event for fans that took place at LoanDepot Park in Miami. Kanye West previously shared that following the event the album would exclusively be available via his $200 Stem Player. However, according to reports, “Donda 2” has yet to officially drop anywhere.

Despite the album reportedly not being available for the general public at the moment, fans who were able to check out the event definitely got the full Kanye experience. According to reports, during the music party, Kanye revealed a song to listeners that features a part of his estranged wife’s, Kim Kardashian, 41, SNL monologue. At the start of the song “Sci-Fi,” Kim Kardashian can be heard saying,
“I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids.”

Reports also claim that during the two-hour Miami event, Kanye took multiple shots in his songs at Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28. In a song entitled “Security,” the famed designer raps,
“Pop some, I ain’t getting frisked. I put your security at risk. Pop some I ain’t getting frisked. I put your security at risk. Ok we gon’ make this an event? y’all gone need security for this. Security gon’ need security for this.”

Last month reports surfaced that Pete Davidson hired a security team due to Kanye repeatedly shading him online. Kanye also previously shared an alleged text conversation between him and Kim Kardashian where the reality star expressed concerns that his antics against Pete Davidson could result in someone getting hurt by overzealous fans.
Unfortunately, everything during the musical performance didn’t go as planned. Reportedly, there were a few technical mishaps and at one point the “Moon” rapper experienced some issues with his in-ear, which resulted in him throwing his microphone out of frustration.

Another notable thing that took place was Morgan freeman, 84, trending due to Kanye’s interesting verse featuring the actor’s name. Reportedly, In the same song where he uses Kim’s monologue, “Sci-Fi,” he raps
“When you lay down and I gave you the semen, I swear I heard God, the voice of Morgan Freeman.”
In addition to that, many fans were happy to see that a Soulja Boy rap feature actually made it to the “Donda” project this time around. As previously reported, Soulja Boy called Kanye out following the release of his first ‘Donda’ body of work after being left off of the album.
However, the 31-year-old rapper seems to be very happy he’s on “Donda 2” and retweeted multiple tweets from fans praising his verse.
