Pete Davidson Didn’t Leave Instagram Because Of Kanye West
Pete Davidson left Instagram on his terms–not Kanye’s.
SNL comedian Pete Davidson didn’t deactivate his Instagram due to Kanye West’s harassment. According to a source, Kim Kardashian’s beau simply doesn’t like social media.
The source told a media outlet:
“Pete deleted his IG because immediately after his first post, he started receiving a flood of messages, both positive and negative, reminding him why he didn’t want social media to begin with.”
They continued:
“[Pete] is in the middle of several big film projects and wants to continue to stay very focused on his work and the positive things happening in his life,”

They added:
“Kanye didn’t drive Pete off social media.”
Pete deleted his short-lived account after posting a clip from the 1981 film The King of Comedy. He quoted the line:
“Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime.”
Several fans assumed that the quote was a jab towards Kanye and infiltrated his DMs.
Kanye posted about the victory, stating:
“Ran Skete off the gram. Tell your mother I changed your name for life.”

The “Stronger” rapper has made it clear that he doesn’t approve of his soon-to-be ex-wife’s new boyfriend. He refers to the comedian as “Skete” on social media and has mentioned him in diss tracks.
