Lil Uzi Vert is already living in the future with his cryptocoins ready!

Luxury automotive retailer RD Whittington recently revealed that he sold the McLaren to Lil Uzi Vert, purchased as a gift to girlfriend JT of the City Girls, and received coin base crypto currency Ethereum as payment.

For her 29th birthday, 1/2 of the Miami rap duo City Girls – JT, debuted an all black McLaren to her Instagram account. Tagging the gifter, boyfriend Lil Uzi Vert in the photo.

During a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, RD Whittington, – founder and CEO of full service automotive, entertainment and aviation company Wires Only – detailed the transaction of the vehicle with the rap star – who he says made his first solo purchase via coinbase.

“Crazy story about Uzi Vert – Little Uzi, very huge rapper bought a Bugatti from us. You know very into fashion, great guy.

He just bought his girlfriend a car as a gift and he paid in Ethereum.”

RD goes on to say the 26-year-old artist needed the car quickly but couldn’t do a wire transfer, and offered the coinbase cryptocurrency Ethereum instead.

He continued:

“It was on a Sunday so he’s like ‘drop the car off I need it now’, I was like bro can you send a wire? He’s like ‘no but you have coinbase?’ I was like sure, so he sent Ethereum, that was it.”

The 35-year-old luxury car dealer then reveals that Uzi confessed the transaction had been the first purchase he made on his own without going through his management company Roc Nation.

“Then he goes ‘that’s the first thing I bought on my own, ever, without having to go through Roc Nation”
