Bow Wow Says He Makes $20K Per Post for Instagram Promo, Earns $10K For Hosting Club Events
It’s been 17 years since Bow Wow (real name is Shad Moss) released “Fresh Azimiz,” and he’s still reminding the world that you simply can’t get it crunk like he can.
The retired rapper and TV host took to Instagram on Sunday, March 20, to flex his influence, saying he needs at least $10,000 to even “entertain” the thought of hosting a club event. Bow Wow said,
“I REALLY ROCK PARTIES I DONT SIT IN THE CORNER HIDING FROM THE PEOPLE IMA REAL HOST! YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! ALL CLUB PROMOTERS IM TELLING YOU NOW…. ITS 10K just to get me to entertain what you trying to say OR DONT.”
He continued,
“I CAN MAKE 20K for an IG POST AND SIT ON MY COUCH COMFORTABLY / NOT ONE LIE TOLD!”
Bow Wow is not exactly known for his humbleness, and the rapper has been called out in the past for lying about his status and influence.
In 2017, he shared a video of himself allegedly being chased by fans while he was on tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. While social media users are sticking by their claims that Bow Wow paid fans to chase him, rapper Da Brat—who has close ties to the rapper through the So So Def Record Label—said otherwise.
There was another instance where the rapper posted a photo of a private jet landed at the Dekalb Peachtree Airport, where the rapper seemingly implied he was traveling to New York solo for a press event. Many assumed he meant he was flying privately, but an image that surfaced later suggested the rapper was on a commercial flight. Another photo indicated Bow Wow had taken the photo from a VIP transportation service and tried to pass it off as his own.
Aside from his remarks on party hostings, he has been making his rounds in the headlines as the alleged mystery man who came in between Jayda Cheaves and her longtime rapper boyfriend Lil Baby.
It’s unknown where the rumor originated, but Jayda Cheaves said via Instagram live that the guy she responded to was, in fact, not Bow Wow. As previously reported, Jayda Cheaves said,
“No shade to Bow Wow but where are ya’ll getting that from? It’s not giving that”
