Wendy Williams Says She’s ‘Ready For Court’ As She Gears Up For Legal Battle Against Wells Fargo
Wendy Williams is ready to duke it out in court to fight for what is hers!
The 57-year-old talk show host took to social media Wednesday (Apr. 6), declaring she’s heading to court in what fans are assuming is her legal battle against Wells Fargo. Wendy Williams looked happy and cheerful in the photo shared to her Instagram account. She initially captioned the post,
“ready for court”
But later changed it to,
“Ready [smiley face emoji].”

Wendy Williams’ comment section was then flooded with positive remarks from her fans, wishing her luck on her publicized legal battle.

As previously reported, Wendy Williams sued Wells Fargo and accused them of freezing her bank accounts after her former financial advisor Lori Schiller allegedly told the bank that she believes Wendy is potentially the victim of financial exploitation. Reportedly, Wells Fargo claims that Wendy is an “incapacitated person” in need of guardianship, which the talk show host has resisted. She seemingly has not had access to her money since January and is now fighting in court to regain access to her funds.

Last month, Wendy spoke further about the situation in a video posted online. She said:
“My thing is that I’ve been asking questions about my money. And when I began asking questions about my money, suddenly Lori Schiller [her former financial advisor] has no response regarding my money. I want my money. This is not fair. And Wells Fargo has no questions and answers with regarding my money. This is not fair.”
She also accused her former manager Bernie Young of using her banking card against her will. She shared:
“I know for a fact that Bernie Young used my American Express card to hire an attorney to file a petition against me. That was done with my American Express card. Bernie Young, you are no good. And this is not fair at all.”
