Nicki Minaj Slams Lawyer Of Kenneth Petty Sexual Assault Accuser For ‘Disgraceful’ Behavior
Nicki Minaj has strong words for the attorney of Jennifer Hough, a woman who accused Nicki Minaj‘s husband, Kenneth Petty, of sexual assault in 1994.

The case re-emerged in recent years when Jennifer Hough claimed Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty had been contacting her and trying to get her to walk back her claims. Kenneth Petty served four years in prison after being convinced of attempted rape in the case and remains on the sex offender registry today.

Jennifer Hough claims that after the pair got together in 2018, the harassment started, eventually leading to her suing them. While Minaj was later dropped from the lawsuit, the case against Petty continues. Both of them have denied her claims.
Now, the “We Go Up” rapper and her lawyer Judd Burstein are firing off on one of Hough‘s lawyers, Tyrone Blackburn. They claim the lawsuit caused Minaj $300,000 in legal fees and said Tyrone Blackburn allegedly made false comments about her, including that she was part of the Makk Ballers gang in Queens, New York.
“Mr. Blackburn’s conduct in this case has been disgraceful,” Burstein said in court documents.
“He should be severely punished for it … so that, hopefully, other lawyers will understand that they have an obligation to their clients, the court, opposing counsel, and the legal profession itself not to pursue bad faith, frivolous, and indeed extortionate litigation in such a reprehensible manner.”

Minaj and her lawyer reportedly want Tyrone Blackburn to cover her legal fees and hope he’ll face additional punishment by the court’s disciplinary committee.
