Kid Cudi Says Pusha T Track Will Be His ‘Last Song’ With Kanye West: I Am Not Cool With That Man, He’s Not My Friend

Looks like Kid Cudi has cut ties with his former friend Kanye West.

Hip hop musician Kanye West/Ye, announced back in February that his good friend and long-time collaborator Kid Cudi will be cut from his “Donda 2” album because of his friendship with Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Scott Mescudi, known by his stage name Kid Cudi, took to Twitter on April 19 to address a song that was cleared with Kanye West featured on the song as well. The tweet comes after fans heard the track that features the two artists following their friendship going south. Cudi revealed to fans that the song was recorded a year ago when he and Kanye were still cool. He tweeted,

“Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did
this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye.” 

Cudi doubled down on the beef, stating that he and Kanye aren’t friends and he will not be heard on another song with him. He continued,

“I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye -Scott.” 

This Friday (April 22), rapper Pusha T will be releasing his new album “It’s Almost Dry” featuring a joint single with Cudi called “Rock N Roll,” which also features Kanye.

Earlier this year, Cudi called Kanye a “dinosaur” after he took to Instagram to let the musical collaborator know he wouldn’t be featured on his album. Kanye wrote,

“Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who we all speak in Billie language now.” 

Cudi quickly commented,

“Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u f*ck*n dinosaur hahaha, everyone knows ive been the best thing abour ur albums since i met u. Ima pray u for brother.”

The “Day ‘n’ Nite” rapper also clapped back in a tweet, calling Kanye “whack” for posting a lie for the internet.
