Megan Fox Admits To Occasionally Drinking Machine Gun Kelly’s Blood “For Ritual Purposes”, Says: It’s Just A Few Drops, But We Do Consume It

Actress Megan Fox is clarifying the “blood drinking” comment made during her engagement announcement to Machine Gun Kelly.

Movie star Megan Fox, 35, is no stranger to controversy. The “Jennifer’s Body” actress was met with both praise and criticism after sharing her engagement to rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 32. Most of the criticism, surrounded Megan’s claim that she and her now fiance “drank each others blood” after pledging to marry.

Via instagram post, Megan shared a video of the proposed and accepted union writing:

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree

We asked for magic

We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.
Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.

Though some followers thought the ritual to be purely symbolic, others wondered if the pair actually consumed real blood. In a recent interview, Megan confirmed what she said was indeed true, though the blood is only consumed in small amounts. After the interviewer asked the actress for clarity on her blood drinking comment, Megan stated:

“Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood….It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

The “TMNT” actress goes on the share that she regularly engages in tarot card readings and is devout student of the astrologies. Explaining how blood drinking intertwines with her spiritual beliefs, Megan stated:

“I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons….And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason.

She continued:

“It is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.'”

Megan and her musician fiance Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker, met on a movie set in March 2020. The celebrity couple was engaged two short months later, after Megan’s now ex-husband Austin Green confirmed their split after 10 years of being married.
