Shereé Whitfield Reacts To Kandi Burruss Refusing To Stay On RHOA If Phaedra Parks Returns: She Should Understand That This Is For The Betterment Of The Show
It looks like Shereé Whitfield is shaking things up and speaking out on a controversial matter that involves some of her RHOA castmates!
‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ OG recently did an interview on Carlos King‘s ‘Reality With The King‘ podcast where she was asked about RHOA vet Kandi Burruss refusing to stay on the reality show if former cast member, Phaedra Parks was ever to return. Shereé–who is close friends with Kandi– had this to say:
“I have been in situations that I was uncomfortable with. I have talked about heavy things that I had going on in my life..We are here to do a reality show. And, as much as I love Kandi, I feel like at the end of the day, she should understand that this is for the show.”
She continued,
“We can’t be like ‘oh, I don’t want to talk about that’ or ‘it’s not cool, so we can’t do it.’ It’s for the betterment of the show. We have all been in uncountable [situations] and talked about sh*t that we don’t want to talk about.”
Shereé even revealed that she invited Phaedra Parks to attend her fashion show–which will air this upcoming season.
“I actually invited Phaedra to the fashion show, and one of the things she said, she was like, ‘Well, is Kandi going to be there?'”

Even though Kandi has seemingly given Bravo the freedom to bring Phaedra back, she has said that she will bow out gracefully and let Phaedra have her place back on the show if that does indeed happen. This leaves many fans to feel it is an unfair power move on Kandi’s behalf.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres Sunday, May 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo!
