DaBaby Charged W/ Felony Battery In Connection To Rental Home Incident, Rapper Shares Video of Alleged Assault Victim Using Racial Slur: Y’all Keep Believing These Type Of People
DaBaby just can’t seem to stay out of trouble!
According to reports, rap star DaBaby, born Jonathan Kirk, has been charged with felony battery by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The charges reportedly stem from an incident that occured almost two years ago. In December 2020, DaBaby, 30, and his team rented a home in the Los Angeles area from 65-year-old rental property owner Gary Pagar. According to Pagar, things eventually went south and at some point, DaBaby hit him and knocked out his tooth.

Last year, Pagar filed a lawsuit against DaBaby and his manager, alleging that the “Rockstar” rapper and his team agreed to have “no more than nine people” on the property during their “private vacation.” The suit also claims that DaBaby agreed not to,
“use the house for commercial purposes, specifically including filming.”
However, according to Pagar, DaBaby violated the contract and hosted “40 people and a commercial film crew” at the LA home to film a music video for his artist 26-year-old Stunna 4 Vegas, born Khalick Caldwell.

Pagar claims he was attacked when trying to enforce the capacity rules. He adds that afterward, DaBaby and his associates,
“vandalized his house and left, after stealing various valuable items.”
Despite Pagar’s serious accusations, DaBaby is singing a different tune. Recently the rapper shared a video online that depicts his version of what caused the altercation with Pagar. The footage allegedly shows Pagar hurling the N-word and other offensive things at DaBaby and his team. The North Carolina native tweeted,
“Y’all keep believing these type of people & helping em assassinate my character y’all might as well get a rope & help him hang my black a** on a tree.”
