Update: Casanova Pleads Guilty to Racketeering Conspiracy, Drug Charges – Faces 5 To 60 Years In Prison
Update #1: Casanova (real name Caswell Senior) has pleaded guilty in a federal racketeering case. He has been accused of having a “leadership role” in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang. He pleaded guilty to one count of “conspiring to conduct and participate in the conduct of the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity” and another count of “conspiring to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.”
According to reports, he admitted with his guilty plea to shooting at someone “with whom he was having a gambling dispute” at a Florida party in July 2020. He also admitted to participation in marijuana trafficking and a 2018 robbery.
The maximum prison sentence of the two counts is 60 years, with a mandatory minimum of five years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled to take place on December 6.
Original Story: New legal details have surfaced in Casanova’s case. According to reports, the 35-year-old rapper has pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge he’s facing. However, despite his not guilty plea, Casanova’s co-defendant in the case – Jarrett “Jayecee” Crisler, who is accused of shooting two people – is allegedly working on a plea deal with prosecutors.
According to AllHipHop, the United States Attorney Damian Williams shared,
“The defendant [Jarrett Crisler] and the government have reached a tentative agreement. The parties are working to finalize the plea in this matter.”
Casanova’s arraignment took place earlier this week, where he pleaded not guilty to the new charges. He said,
“I have been given a copy of the indictment containing the charges against me and have reviewed with my attorney. After consultation with my attorney, I wish to plead not guilty.”

As previously reported, New York native Casanova, born Caswell Senior, has been in police custody for almost a year due to being accused of taking part in a gang-related racketeering case.
The alleged attempted murder incident the rapper was involved in took place in October 2020 outside of King of Diamonds adult entertainment club in Miami. Reportedly a Crip gang member was offended by the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang signs Casanova was allegedly showcasing, which led to a back and forth between the pair.
Following the dispute between the men, Jarrett Crisler, a Florida-based member of the Gorilla Stone Gang, allegedly shot the Crip gang member and one of his associates.
According to reports, both victims were airlifted to a local hospital, treated for their wounds, and eventually recovered.
On December 1, 2020, prosecutors from the Southern District of New York Federal Court declared a warrant for the arrest of Casanova, who they claimed was a leader within the Gorilla Stone Gang. He was among 18 alleged members of the gang that were charged in connection with various racketeering, murder, narcotics, firearms, and fraud offenses.
After the warrant was issued, it didn’t take long for Casanova to turn himself over to authorities. Earlier this month reports broke that an attempted murder charge was added to the charges stacked against the rapper.
