Cardi B Accuses DJ Of Being Messy, As He Mentions Nicki Minaj During Club Appearance [VIDEO]

Whether it’s on or offline, Cardi B isn’t the type to hold back when she feels disrespected.

Internet personality and rapper Cardi B is making headlines over an incident involving a DJ. Earlier today (May 12), a video of Cardi B partying at a New York club with her camp began circulating of what appears to be the DJ seemingly referring to her as fellow rapper Nicki Minaj.

Cardi B, Nicki Minaj

As Cardi sipped on her Corona and danced to the music alongside her family, the DJ came over the mic and yelled,

“Shoutout to Nicki Minaj in the motherf*cking building. Let’s go.”

He then played one of Nicki Minaj’s latest hits “Do We Have a Problem?” However, there’s apparently more to the story.

According to reports, Cardi’s reaction towards the DJ was not because he shouted out Nicki Minaj, but for allegedly yelling inappropriate gang-related things on the mic. Allegedly, as Cardi, her husband Offset, sister Hennessy Carolina, and their entourage arrived to their section at the NY club, the DJ began to yell inappropriately about different gangs.

In the now viral video, the 29-year-old rapper can be seen reacting to the DJ by obtaining the mic and gathering the crowd’s attention. She asked,

“Who’s in the building tonight?”

The New York native continued,

“We with all the f*cking smoke you heard.”

Directing her attention towards the host, she added,

“We getting dangerous tonight? DJ are we getting f*cking dangerous tonight? F*ck outta here.”

Following her reaction, Cardi released the mic and the DJ began to play her No. 1 hit “WAP.”

Although the DJ did not accidentally refer to Cardi as Nicki, he still played “Do We Have A Problem” and shouted out Nicki. As the viral incident appears to happen after he played the track, apparently, the two videos are not directly related to one another.

What are your thoughts on this entire situation? Do you think the DJ is at fault? Tell us in the comments below!
