Remy Ma & Papoose Celebrate 14 Year Wedding Anniversary!
Rappers Remy Ma and Papoose’s love is as solid as ever. The couple is celebrating their 14 year anniversary.
Papoose, 44, originally proposed to Remy Ma, 41, in 2008 while she was in prison. Although it is unclear when they started dating, the hip-hop artists officially wed in December 2015, 16 months after Remy Ma’s release from prison.
The two were already technically married after a ceremony when Remy was in prison that took place over the phone, however, that didn’t stop the hip hop royalty from wanting a real wedding ceremony.

Papoose penned a sweet message celebrating his wife on their 14th year of marriage,
Today we celebrate 14 years of marriage. Through all the up’s & downs, we stuck together. Most
people don’t pass the test of time. So when that happens, it speaks volumes. @remyma You are an amazing partner. Looking forward to our future! You can’t tell a woman you love her. Are you stupid? Words don’t express ya love you gotta prove it. #happyanniversary #queenremy
#blacklove 24 @tunecore #anniversary.”

Remy also posted a sweet message to her husband in honor of their memorable date.

Remy previously dated a man by the name of SinSay from 1999-2001. The two share a son named Jayson, 21. She is also a step-mother to Papoose’s three children from previous relationships, Dejanae, 24, Shamele, 23, and Destiny, 21. The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” stars share daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie, 3.
