Sean Paul Denies He and Beyonce Had Relationship While Recording ‘Baby Boy’ In Early 2000s: ‘I Wish!’
Sean Paul is reflecting on his time working with Beyoncé!
During a recent interview, the 49-year-old dancehall/reggae singer reflected on working with the 28-time Grammy Award winner for her 2003 song “Baby Boy.” Despite speculation over the years, Sean Paul, 49, confirmed that his relationship with Beyoncé, 40, was nothing but professional when they collaborated together. Sean Paul said he had always admired Beyoncé during her time with Destiny’s Child, so he was elated at the opportunity to work with her. He explained,
“I’d always admired her music and she’s beautiful. So, when I heard Beyoncé was stepping out on her own and wanted me to do a single, I was like ‘Hell f**ing yeah.’”
“Nah! I wish I did! She’s beautiful.”
